Bakka Roman Temple

A 2nd-century AD Roman temple in the village of Bakka in the Rashaya District of Lebanon's Beqaa Governorate, part of the Temples of Mount Hermon group. George Taylor classified it as a prostylos temple, noting that the north and south walls and podium floor survived. The temple featured an underground crypt, once accessible via a house built over it. On the UNESCO tentative list as part of the "Sacred Mount Hermon" nomination. The site has been heavily damaged by local construction.
