Tria Platania

Tria Platania (Greek Τρία Πλατάνια, 'Three Plane Trees') is an archaeological site in Greece where the remains of an ancient farmhouse were discovered during construction of the Athens-Thessaloniki railway line [1]. Rescue excavations uncovered a small portion of the antiquities, while the largest part of the site lies beneath the railway route [1]. Archaeobotanical analysis of olive remains provided insights into olive oil production methods at the site during the fourth to second centuries BC [1].
