Macedonian Tombs, Korinos

The Macedonian Tombs at Korinos are a necropolis complex near the modern Greek village of Korinos, situated at the site of ancient Pydna. Tomb A, an important Macedonian tomb, was discovered in the mid-19th century. In 1991, a second smaller grave, Tomb B, was discovered and excavated nearby. Both tombs date to the Roman period (1st–5th century AD). These tombs represent an important part of the history of Pieria and provide insight into burial practices in ancient Macedonia during the Roman era.
