GreeceThe Macedonian Tombs at Katerini are a necropolis complex discovered during clay recovery operations north of Katerini, Greece. The two tombs were located approximately 3.7 km (2.3 mi) northeast of Katerini's center, between National Road 1 (the Athens-Thessaloniki corridor) and Highway 1, near the Vória Kateríni junction. Earlier archaeological work in the late 1960s had identified a destroyed kiln and building remains at this site[1].
