Knossos

Knossos is a Bronze Age archaeological site in Crete. [1] The site was a major centre of the Minoan civilization and is considered by many to be the oldest city in Europe. [1] It is famous for its association with the Greek myth of Theseus and the minotaur. [1] Located on the outskirts of Heraklion, it remains a popular tourist destination. [1]
