White Horse Stone

The White Horse Stone comprises two sarsen megaliths on Blue Bell Hill near Aylesford, Kent, England. The Lower Stone was destroyed before 1834; the surviving Upper Stone took on the name and associated folklore. Archaeologists speculate—though unverified—that both stones formed parts of chambered long barrows from the fourth millennium BC, during Britain's Early Neolithic period.
