Ringmoor Stone Row and Cairn Circle

A Bronze Age stone row and cairn circle on Ringmoor Down in Dartmoor, Devon, part of the Upper Plym Valley archaeological landscape. The stone row extends 356 metres, mainly single but double in parts, terminating at a standing stone to the north. At its southern end lies a cairn circle 12.6 metres in diameter enclosing a burial cairn 9.5 metres wide. Many original stones were robbed for reuse; a controversial 1909 restoration by Baring-Gould included importing stones from up to half a kilometre away. Located 300 metres north of Brisworthy stone circle.
