Lakhan-Jo-Daro

Lakhan-Jo-Daro is one of the largest cities of the Indus Valley civilization, located near Sukkur in Sindh, Pakistan, roughly 120 km southwest of Mohenjo-Daro. Covering over 300 hectares, the site rivals Mohenjo-Daro in scale. Carbon-14 testing by the University of Groningen dated samples to approximately 3,960 years old, and deep excavations revealed artifacts predating Mohenjo-Daro. Finds include terracotta wheels, stone weights, copper items, seals, and a faience mirror factory.
