Runkuraqay is an Inca archaeological site on a mountain of the same name in Peru, located in the Cusco Region, Urubamba Province, Machupicchu District[1]. Dating to the Inca period between 1000 and 1500 AD, the ruins sit on the southern slope of Mount Runkuraqay near the Runkuraqay pass[1]. The site is situated southeast of Machu Picchu and south of the Vilcanota River, with Sayacmarca to the southwest and Qunchamarka to the northwest[1].
