Machu Q'inti

Machu Q'inti (Quechua for "old hummingbird") is an Inca-period archaeological site in Peru's Cusco Region, Urubamba Province, within Machupicchu District. It is situated above the left bank of the Willkanuta River, near the related sites of Wayna Q'inti, Willkaraqay, and Patallaqta, the latter also known as Q'inti Marka ("hummingbird village"). The site forms part of the broader Inca archaeological landscape of the Sacred Valley surrounding Machu Picchu.
