Buckland Rings is an Iron Age hill fort in Lymington, Hampshire[1]. The earthworks and defensive ditches remain clearly visible today, though the western outer bank lies beneath a road and the southeastern section is nearly ploughed-out[1]. Excavations in 1935 revealed the inner and middle ramparts were of wall-and-fill construction, retained by upright timber beams and walls of cut, laid turf[1].
