Castle Hill, Hampshire

Castle Hill is the site of an Iron Age univallate hillfort located in the civil parish of Burley in the New Forest national park in Hampshire [1]. Parts of the interior are marshy and much of it is overgrown with oak, silver birch, holly and bracken [1]. The bank is at its highest on the eastern side, as the west side slopes steeply away [1]. The site lies immediately to the west of the village of Burley Street, within the New Forest national park in the county of Hampshire [1]. The site lies on a small hill of 92m AOD [1].
