Chillerton Down

Chillerton Down is downland on the Isle of Wight, England, between the villages of Shorwell and Chillerton[1]. The hill's highest point reaches 167 metres (548 ft), with a prominence of 61 metres[1]. Across a spur running northeast to southwest, earthworks form a rampart thought to be an unfinished Iron Age promontory fort dating to 1500–500 BC[1]. The feature is called the Five Barrows because it has sunk in places, giving the appearance of separate mounds[1].
