An Iron Age promontory fort in Rhoose, Vale of Glamorgan, overlooking the Bristol Channel. The trapezoidal fortification covers approximately 4 hectares and features three close-set defensive banks separated by ditches. Pottery evidence indicates occupation from around 200 BC to 75 AD, with continued use into the Roman period. Excavations in 1968 revealed three rectangular buildings inside the inner rampart, one of which showed habitation until the late 3rd or 4th century AD. Coastal erosion at a rate of 24.2 cm per year continues to reduce the site.
