Dinas Powys Hillfort

(500 BC - 1 AD) Dinas Powys is an Iron Age hillfort in Glamorgan, Wales, featuring a main fort on the northern peak constructed in the 3rd or 2nd century BCE, with Southern Banks added on the southern slope in the 1st century BCE.[1] Occupation ceased during Roman Britain but resumed in the 5th century CE during Sub-Roman Britain, when further structures were added.[2] The site was excavated by archaeologist Leslie Alcock from 1954 to 1958.[3]
