Llwynda-Ddu Camp

Iron Age hillfort in Pentyrch, Cardiff, Wales. The egg-shaped earthwork occupies the western end of a small hill at approximately 120 metres (390 ft) elevation[1]. Sharp natural slopes defend all sides except the eastern approach, where a single entrance sits at the south-western terminus[1]. Classified as a scheduled monument, the site represents a typical prehistoric defensive enclosure dating to the Iron Age period (c. 800 BC - 1st century AD)[1].
