Gray Hill, Monmouthshire

A Bronze Age ceremonial landscape on Mynydd Llwyd hill in Monmouthshire, South Wales, rising to 273 metres above sea level with views over the Severn Estuary. The stone circle measures approximately 9.75 metres in diameter with at least 13 stones, though only two remain standing at the north and northeast positions after 19th-century stone robbing. The broader hilltop contains standing stones, cairns, field boundaries, and a D-shaped Neolithic or Bronze Age enclosure. Regarded as one of the most important Bronze Age landscapes in Monmouthshire, it features possible solstice alignments and a processional way leading to a barrow cemetery.
