UkraineShypyntsi (Ukrainian: Шипинці) is a village in Chernivtsi Raion, Chernivtsi Oblast, Ukraine, situated on the left bank of the Prut River in the Dniester Hills region [1]. The site contains ancient ruins of a Cucuteni-Trypillian culture settlement dating to the 5th millennium to early 4th millennium BC [1]. Archaeological excavations have uncovered remains of this Neolithic-Eneolithic civilization known for its large settlements [1] [2] [3].
