UkraineApolyanka is a village in the Babanka settlement hromada of Uman raion, Cherkasy oblast, Ukraine, with 430 inhabitants [1]. The village lies in the north-east of Uman raion, 25 km from the district centre [1]. Apolyanka was founded in the middle of the 17th century and is shown on an atlas of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth of the 16th to 17th centuries [1]. The lands of Apolyanka are said once to have carried one of the largest settlements of the Trypillia culture period [1].
