Kalos Limen ('Charming Harbor') was an ancient Greek colony on the west coast of the Crimean Peninsula, founded by Ionian settlers in the 4th century BC. The fortified city covered about 4 hectares and served as part of the Chersonesos city-state's western territories. In the 2nd century BC it was captured by Scythians, briefly recaptured by Greeks, then lost again before being permanently abandoned in the 1st century BC due to Sarmatian invasions. A State Historic-Archaeological Preserve was established at the site near modern Chernomorskoye in 1997.
