Villar de Domingo García

A late Roman villa near the town of Noheda in Cuenca province, Spain, dating from the 3rd to 5th centuries AD. Its triclinium contains one of the largest figural mosaic floors in the Roman world, spanning over 230 square metres, with scenes depicting the Judgement of Paris, a Dionysian procession with satyrs and maenads, and the myth of Pelops and Hippodamia. The complex includes a bathhouse, agricultural quarters, and residential areas with painted decoration and marble sculptures. An interpretation center in the village provides visitor access.
