The Ermita de la Virgen del Pilar Dam was a Roman gravity dam located in Monforte de Moyuela, Teruel province, Aragon, Spain. Built in the 1st century AD, it is one of the oldest known Roman dams in Hispania. The few surviving remains have enabled archaeologists to reconstruct its design in considerable detail, providing valuable insights into Roman hydraulic engineering practices in the Iberian Peninsula.[1]
