Multan Fort was a historic fortress in present-day Multan, Pakistan. According to some estimates, the original fort was constructed by the Katoch Rajput Dynasty between 800 and 1000 BC, making it one of the oldest forts in the region [1]. The fort was later destroyed but rebuilt by Ranghar chiefs on a hillock separated from the city by the Ravi River [1]. In 1849, during British colonial rule, the fort was destroyed by British forces [1].
