Kulachor is an ancient settlement in Gujrat District, Punjab, Pakistan, located approximately 16 kilometers northeast of Gujrat city, adjacent to Jalalpur Jattan. Founded around 300 BC by Chandragupta Maurya, the first emperor of the Mauryan Empire, it represents one of the earliest urban centers established during Mauryan expansion into the northwestern Indian subcontinent. Archaeological evidence from the area dates to the 500 BC to 1 AD period, corresponding with the Mauryan dynasty's influence over the Punjab plains.
