Ranigat is a 2,500-year-old Buddhist archaeological site of the Gandhara civilization, spread over 4 square kilometres in the Buner District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The hilltop complex features stupas, monasteries, shrines, and drainage networks, representing the largest Buddhist monastic complex in the Gandhara region. The name combines Hindi 'Rani' (queen) and Pashto 'gat' (huge rock), referencing a massive standing stone atop the mountain. Protected under Pakistan's Antiquities Act 1975, the site was added to UNESCO's World Heritage Tentative List in 2004.
