Veluška Tumba

Veluška Tumba is an ancient settlement from Neolithic times, near the village of Porodin in the Republic of Macedonia, close to Bitola [1]. The site is an artificially raised mound shaped like a truncated cone, with an elliptical base laid out east to west [2]. The mound measures 250 m in length, 150 m in width and 0.70 to 5 m in height [2]. The excavations found a cultural layer four metres thick, filled with habitation remains spread over four horizons [2].
