Kokino is a Bronze Age archaeo-astronomical site in North Macedonia, approximately 30 km from Kumanovo at an elevation of 1,013 meters. Discovered by archaeologist Jovica Stankovski in 2001, the site dates to approximately 1900 BC and consists of two volcanic rock platforms with a 19-meter elevation difference covering about 5,000 square meters. The lower platform features four massive stone thrones facing east, while the upper platform contains markers carved into andesite rock indicating solstices and equinoxes. In 2005, NASA ranked it fourth among ancient observatories worldwide. It is on UNESCO's Tentative List.
