A 1st-century BC Roman maritime villa in Minori on the Amalfi Coast, the largest Roman ruins found along this coastline, spanning over 230 square metres. Discovered in 1932, the villa descends multiple levels following the valley slope, featuring a garden with pool, a colonnaded triportico, and an elaborate nymphaeum with traces of mosaics, frescoes, and a waterfall feature. The site also includes bathing areas with the classical Roman bath layout. Occupation continued well beyond the fall of the Western Empire, into the 7th century. The site is free to enter and has received 4.9 million euros for restoration.
