Italy(18-12 BC) A Roman pyramid tomb built for Gaius Cestius, a member of the Epulones religious corporation. Built in the Nubian pyramid style, it stands at a fork between the Via Ostiensis and the road to the Tiber. Due to its incorporation into Rome's later fortifications, it remains one of the best-preserved ancient structures in the city.[1]
