Beenalaght

Beenalaght, known locally as "An Seisear" (The Six), is an alignment of six standing stones on flat pasture near the village of Bweeng, County Cork, Ireland, 13.6 km southwest of Mallow. Five stones remain upright while one lies prostrate, ranging in height from 1.8 to 3 m and stretching over roughly 11 m (36 ft). The two tallest stones stand at each end with the shortest in the middle. Dating to the Bronze Age, it is considered the best-known stone alignment in the area and reflects the rich megalithic landscape of County Cork.
