The Treasury of the Thebans at Delphi was a Doric treasury built entirely of local limestone from the quarries of St. Elias near Chrisso [1]. Located a few meters below the first turn of the Sacred Way, the processional route through the sanctuary of Apollo, it was dedicated by the Thebans for their victory against the Lacedaemonians at Leuctra [1].
