Boeotian Treasury

The Treasury of the Boeotians was a small temple-like building dedicated in the sanctuary of Apollo at Delphi during the late Archaic period, datable to the early 5th century BC. Located along the southwestern end of the Sacred Way, it is identified through epigraphic material including mason inscriptions that mix archaic forms with Phocian alphabet letters. The treasury housed offerings such as statues and tripods dedicated to Apollo, symbolising the Boeotian Confederacy's collective piety. Pausanias does not mention the building, suggesting it may have been destroyed before his time.
