EnglandAn Early Anglo-Saxon cemetery at Irby on Humber, North East Lincolnshire, dating to c. AD 425-650. Excavated by amateur archaeologist Gordon Taylor between 1962 and 1979, the site yielded 72 inhumations and 5 cremations across three burial areas along the hill. Notable finds include silver serpent rings, silver bracteates, and a gilt copper alloy brooch, with textile remains showing craftsmanship comparable to Sutton Hoo. The archive was acquired by North Lincolnshire Museum in 2020.
