Stanborough

Stanborough is an Iron Age hill fort near the village of Halwell, south of Totnes in Devon, England[1]. The fort occupies a strategic promontory on the western edge of a hill, standing approximately 200 metres (660 ft) above sea level[1]. The site represents a defensive settlement typical of prehistoric Britain. The location was first listed as a historical heritage asset in 1923[1].
