Bronze Age settlement emerged around 1700-1200 BCE at Hundatorra, a deserted village on Dartmoor's northeast-facing slopes at 340 metres elevation. The site was abandoned by 1000 BCE before experiencing medieval reoccupation during the Medieval Warm Period, lasting until the 14th century. [1]
