Hound Tor is a weathered granite tor on Dartmoor, Devon, England, located near the B3387 road between Bovey Tracey and Widecombe-in-the-Moor [1]. To the south-east stand remains of Hundatorra, a deserted Medieval village built on land originally farmed during the Bronze Age (1500-500 BC) and possibly used for grazing in the Roman period [1]. The site exemplifies multi-period land use spanning over 3,000 years from Bronze Age agriculture through Roman pastoral activity to medieval settlement abandonment.
