Capton is a small village near Dartmouth in South Devon, England. On a hilltop to the east of the village, at approximately 185 metres (600 ft) above sea level, lies an Iron Age enclosure or hillfort. The site occupies a commanding position overlooking the surrounding Devon landscape. Flint tools have also been discovered in the area, indicating earlier Neolithic-era activity.
