Deepcar

Deepcar is a Mesolithic archaeological site in South Yorkshire, England, excavated in 1962 near the junction of the Don and Little Don rivers at Wharncliffe Wood [1]. The dig revealed a structure, ascribed to the Maglemosian culture [1]. Deepcar became the type site for "Deepcar-type assemblages" of microliths identified across England [1] [2].
