Burgh Walls Camp

Burgh Walls Camp is a multivallate Iron Age hill fort in North Somerset, England, dating from approximately 1500–500 BC [1]. Located within Leigh Woods about 2.6 km (1.6 mi) north-east of Long Ashton near Bristol, it sits above the banks of the River Avon [1]. The fort is one of three Iron Age fortifications overlooking the Avon Gorge, alongside Stokeleigh [1]. Alternative names include Bower Walls Camp, Burwalls, and Bowre Walls [1].
