Aveline's Hole is a cave at Burrington Combe in the limestone of the Mendip Hills, Somerset, England. It contains the earliest scientifically dated cemetery in Britain, with human remains dating to 10,400–10,200 BC, making it the largest Mesolithic human burial assemblage in Britain [1][2].
