Ramesses III Temple

The Mortuary Temple of Ramesses III at Medinet Habu is a well-preserved New Kingdom temple on the West Bank of Luxor, Egypt, built in the 12th century BC [1]. Covering over 7,000 m², this "million-year house" served the divine cult of the pharaoh Ramesses III [1]. The temple complex also includes an Amun temple, burial chapels of the divine wives of Amun from the 23rd–26th dynasties, and a sacred lake [1].
