Tenta, Cyprus

Tenta (Kalavasos-Tenta) is an Aceramic Neolithic settlement in southern Cyprus, dating to approximately 8000 BC.[1] Located near modern Kalavasos, it sits on a small natural hill in the Vasilikos valley, about 38 km southwest of Larnaca and 45 km south of Nicosia, close to the Nicosia–Limassol highway.[1] The site represents one of the earliest known human settlements on Cyprus, showcasing the pre-ceramic phase of the Neolithic period.[2]
