CyprusMersinaki is an ancient place located near the shore, between Vouni and Soli, in Cyprus [1]. The Swedish Cyprus Expedition, led by Einar Gjerstad, excavated Mersinaki during the year 1930 and found an open-air sanctuary by a river delta [1]. The sanctuary might have been dedicated to Apollon since two inscriptions mention him, but another inscription mentions Athena as well [1].
