Privlaka is a village in eastern Slavonia, Croatia, located 12km south of Vinkovci in Vukovar-Syrmia County. A Scordisci archaeological site dating to the late La Tene culture (1st century BC) was excavated in the 1970s and 1980s as part of rescue excavations in eastern Croatia. The settlement was part of the broader Scordisci network in the Vinkovci area, a Celtic people who inhabited large parts of the Balkans during the Iron Age. The Vukovar-Syrmia region has been inhabited since Neolithic times and is notable for its Vucedol culture heritage.
