Tilurium was an ancient Illyrian and Roman settlement located at Gardun above modern Trilj in Croatia[1]. Originally an Illyrian hill-fort of the Delmatae tribe, it became a major Roman legionary fortress commanding the strategic Cetina River crossing known as Pons Tiluri[1]. The site covered approximately 12 hectares and was occupied through Late Antiquity[1].
