CroatiaPožun is a small settlement on the left bank of the Kupa river, opposite Ozalj Castle in Karlovac County, Croatia. The museum in Ozalj Castle holds a stone axe found at Požun from the Neolithic Lengyel culture, dating to the 5th millennium BC, testifying to ancient habitation in the area. According to legend, Count Nikola Zrinski settled Croats here from Poszony between the 16th and 17th centuries. The modern village had only 35 residents as of the 2011 census.
