Musbury Castle

Musbury Castle is an Iron Age hill fort located above the village of Musbury in Devon, England [1]. The fortress sits on a commanding hilltop approximately 175 metres (575 ft) above sea level, overlooking the Axe valley at Ordnance Survey grid reference SY282941 [1]. The hill fort's elevated position provided strategic control over the surrounding landscape and valley routes [1].
