Banwell Camp

Banwell Camp is a univallate Iron Age hill fort located in the North Somerset district of Somerset, England, situated approximately 2.6 km (1.6 mi) east of Banwell village[1]. The site contains artefacts dating from the Bronze Age and Stone Age, indicating long-term human occupation[1]. In places, the fort is surrounded by a 4-metre (13 ft) high bank and ditch, typical of Iron Age defensive earthworks[1].
