Wain's Hill

Wain's Hill is an univallate Iron Age hill fort located approximately 1.6 km (1 mile) south-west of Clevedon in North Somerset, England [1]. The site occupies a naturally defensible position on a hill, utilizing steep slopes on its southern and northern sides as natural defenses [1]. The eastern approach, lacking the benefit of natural slopes, is protected by two defensive ramparts (earthwork banks) [1].
