Kit Hill is a Neolithic to Early Bronze Age hillfort in southeast Cornwall, England, standing 334 metres high and dominating the landscape between Callington and the River Tamar[1]. The hill's name derives from the Old English 'kit' meaning kite, a reference to birds of prey still visible on its slopes today[1]. One of five Marilyn hills in Cornwall, it was given to the public as Kit Hill Country Park in 1985 to mark the birth of Prince William[2].
